As part of its 70th anniversary activities, the Nigerian Navy’s Naval Dockyard engaged host communities through a goodwill outreach programme.

The Dockyard distributed educational materials to four schools, aimed at improving learning conditions and supporting students’ academic development. The initiative underscores the Navy’s commitment to community support and strengthening relationships with areas surrounding its facilities.

The programme also forms part of wider celebrations marking the Navy’s 70 years of service, combining institutional milestones with community-focused engagement.
