Kellogg’s Nigeria has recently awarded ₦150,000 educational scholarships to 150 young students as part of its “My Superstar Journey” creative essay competition, emphasizing the company’s dedication to fostering learning and creativity among Nigerian children.
The awards ceremony took place on January 31, 2026, at LTV BOS Hall in Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos. Children aged 7 to 12 were celebrated for their imaginative essays, having been selected from a remarkable pool of over 270,000 entries nationwide. Parents, teachers, and guests joined in honoring the young winners who showcased exceptional originality and storytelling ability.
The initiative aims to nurture not just academic achievement but also creative thinking and self expression. Participants were encouraged to envision their futures and communicate their dreams through writing. A panel of education experts reviewed all submissions, selecting winners based on creativity, originality, and the quality of their narratives.
Each winner received a ₦150,000 scholarship, which can be used toward tuition fees, books, uniforms, and other educational expenses. Many parents described the initiative as “a wonderful way to motivate children while supporting families with school costs.”
