The Federal Government has once again affirmed its dedication to providing inclusive and quality education for every Nigerian child as the nation commemorated the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.

Officials stressed that all children, regardless of their social background, gender, physical condition, or economic status, deserve equal access to learning opportunities. According to the government, education remains one of the most effective pathways toward national growth and sustainable development.

During the Children’s Day events, the government pledged to intensify efforts aimed at improving the education sector through policies and initiatives focused on increasing school enrollment, tackling the out-of-school children crisis, and creating safer and more supportive learning environments.

Authorities also highlighted ongoing efforts in upgrading school facilities, improving teacher capacity, expanding digital education, and strengthening child-focused programs across the country.
