The Bauchi State Government has cleared an outstanding debt of ₦139 million and issued certificates to students who were beneficiaries of its sponsorship programme.

This action was taken to settle payments owed to educational institutions on behalf of the students, allowing them to complete their academic requirements without further hindrance.

Government representatives stated that the payment demonstrates its dedication to supporting education and fulfilling its obligations under the student sponsorship initiative.
