Africa Educational Forum Set to Host Free Virtual Summit on Teaching Innovation and Well-being

The Africa Educational Management and Leadership Forum (AEF) has announced plans for a free one-day virtual summit designed to inspire, equip, and connect educators across Africa and beyond.
The event, themed “Teaching in a changing world: Innovation, wellbeing, and impact,” is scheduled for October 11 and will provide teachers with essential tools to succeed in the fast-evolving education landscape of the 21st century.
According to the organizers, the forum will highlight the most pressing issues affecting teachers today, including “harnessing innovation for real learning, protecting their well-being, and ensuring measurable impact in schools.”
Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, AEF emerged as a timely response to the disruption of learning. With schools closed and millions of learners confined to their homes, many educators lacked the training and resources to adapt to online teaching. AEF positioned itself as a lifeline, equipping teachers with “knowledge, digital strategies, and confidence to sustain learning despite the pandemic.”
The organizers noted that the October summit will feature renowned speakers and practitioners, stressing that “their voices will bring both inspiration and practical strategies for educators.
